But if the company producing that media won’t give it to people in the format they want it, they’ll find someone who will. You can’t buy that book as an epub—but you can pirate it as one. You can’t buy that movie in a non-proprietary format—but you can pirate it in any format you want. Give people easy, flexible, affordable ways to purchase things, and they’ll do so. It’s not rocket science.
