These kids, man. I teared up the first time I saw their original meet-up wth Nicki Minaj, and they continue to be incredibly endearing. I love how excited they are by meeting all these people they admire, but that that’s exactly what it is — admiration and happiness and thinking these performers are REALLY REALLY COOL, but not hero worship. These two kids aren’t going to let anyone else but them be the star of their stories. Even in the original duet with Nicki, they don’t defer to her or give her any ground just because they love her — they hold their own. They know they have the right to hold their own, no matter who they’re alongside. 

And you know, meeting celebrities is cool and all, but sometimes it’s time to sit down and have a sandwich or some cotton candy.

Ugh I love them so much. Best kids best kids. I want all little girls to be this assured of their own wonderfulness.
